It takes approximately 300 plus work hours on stuffing day to sort items, wrapping and stuffing the Totes4Teens donation duffle bag and other large items. Various agencies working with teenagers in need throughout the county receive these donations the week after Thanksgiving so they have time for their own distribution process. Stuffing day for the Totes4Teens helpers is always the Monday after Thanksgiving. A local moving company does the majority of distributions to agencies no later than the following day. The committee estimates it takes almost 100 hours of overall labor time for each individual total donation as many items are personally made to make these gifts extra special.
